Preamble

A Brief History of the Development of science

For millennia science & the bible have been deemed to be incompatible. This publication is predicated on the truth that nothing could be further from reality. By tackling a wide range of subjects simply and logically, The Greatest Story Ever Told, will lay out the evidence which substantiates our founding premise, that science and the Bible are not only inextricably linked, but that they are one and the same phenomena. Welcome to a journey unlike any other. Welcome to the nexus of possibility - a portal into the realm of the seemingly impossible. Welcome to the holy grail where science meets the Bible.

Since time immemorial, errant science and errant theology have always been in cahoots. Galileo Galilei’s life perhaps illustrates the relationship between these strange bedfellows better than any other in history. His intrepid mind uncovered the commonality of their operation. He outlined through quotes the nature of their synced behaviour in at least six ways - though he might not have fully grasped the true extent of this symbiosis. By examining some quotes from his life we can gain a detailed understanding of how these actors play their parts. To lay the groundwork let us consider two quotes that show how both theologians and scientists often fail the test of truth:

Galileo Galilei vs Scientism

True science and true religion will always be in agreement. Similarly false religion and false science will also always agree: the only thing that changes is which false narrative(or) is taking the lead. Sometimes as in the Dark Ages it was false religion that was clearly dominant and false science mirrored its narrative. In our time, false science has taken the lead and the exponents of false religion are happily espousing false man made doctrines to be in sync with scientism's fallacies.

The Same IS True Today

Science and the Bible were designed to be mutually reinforcing as they both testify to the same reality - God created the universe and everything in it! As such they will always harmonize - when understood properly. If they are perceived to be at odds, it’s due to lack of knowledge about one or the other, or both. But that only applies in cases involving the general public. Outside that sphere, between the purveyors of religious and scientific doctrine themselves, we find a different reality. Instead of mere ignorance, we find a consistent pattern of fostering misleading dogma that deviates from the truths borne out by thorough investigation of either science or the Bible. Since atleast the period of the so-called Enlightenment the narrative of a growing chasm between science and the bible has been hoisted on society, but this is a false narrative. In reality, nothing could be further from the truth! Bankrupt religion and bankrupt science are always in agreement! They form a most insidious tag team. A tag team whose partners that takes turns in fostering falsehoods about the true nature of reality - in an effort to deflect the glory that belongs to the God who created heaven and earth. To accomplish this, a nuanced undetected influence must be exerted on society, the source and product of their authority.

Depending on the mood of the times and the spirit of society, either the religious establishment or scientific class will take the lead, with the other bolstering that position by playing sycophant sidekick. In the Middle Ages, when spirituality reigned supreme in western society the religious part of this cohort burned people alive at the stake for expounding scientific truths. The Church through fiat, with the backing of the scientific community, which readily denied all evidence that would establish the truth(s) under discussion. Today, when society is under the spell of secularism, the scientific establishment is happy to run its leg of the relay and bankrupt religions eagerly change inviolable scriptural doctrine to accommodate the prevailing scientific views. For over 2,000 years this sick dance has been performed without interruption, however now, the telltale signs of this covert, illicit affair are being laid bare.

“Why should two institutions of society which, seem to be at opposite ends of society’s spectrum of accumulated knowledge have a need to be illicit bedfellows” you may ask? For the simple reason that true scientific and biblical knowledge pay homage to the same reality - common authorship from the God who created the universe, and it is not in the interests of errant institutions to espouse such facts. Any efforts to upend that reality, would thus require coordinated efforts from within both these entities. Because such efforts cannot rely on evidence as their mechanism of persuasion - for the evidence will always testify to God’s creatorship - the respective purveyors must instead couple untested and untestable hypotheses, with baseless, meaningless consensus to achieve a veneer of validity. These intellectuals have no skin in the game. They exist as paddlers of influence, not shepherds of reality, hence the necessity for coordinated function to preserve their roles of influencers over society. The concept of influencers who don’t produce anything but rather earn a living by monetizing their influence over others has been thoroughly exposed by social media platforms and is now common knowledge. Scientists and theologians are no different, they don’t derive their authority intrinsically from their respective avenues of interest. They garner it because they are perceived to be the door-keepers of those domains. When we trace the development of this binary relationship to it’s source we realize that its duality is due to the collapse of human institutions. This regresses people into tribal interests. Whereas, in times past, one institution could fulfill both roles, as society progresses it fractures into smaller and smaller groups, with unique identities. This means to maintain influence over as many people as possible, the sources of influence also need to multiplied and be re-branded around narrower identities - hence one center of influence and power turns into two.

Though the charge maybe distinctly novel, the claim resonates with anyone with an understanding of history. For historically these two institutions were embodied in one figure. In bygone days, when more autocratic systems of human government held sway, the integrated interests of these two institutions - false religion and false science - didn’t have to be obscured, for both offices were occupied by the same individual: the Magic Practicing Priest. With the ‘magic practicing’ portion relating to the scientific domains of the time and the title of 'Priest' self-explanatorily denoting the religious part of the partnership. If history, is too distant to inform your perceptions, just observe any modern tribal society where power rests in one individual. Who fills the role of influencer between authoritarian monarch/chief and his subjects. The Shaman - the magic practicing priest.

To Illustrate the tandem nature of this duo we must identify instances of their common interests and operations. We’ll use actual instances in the life and trials (quite literally) of Galileo Galilei to expose how their connection is never out of sync. We will be grouping quotes from Galileo about the efforts and techniques employed against him by both the religious establishment and the scientific community under a topic that highlights the commonality of approach and singleness of purpose in their actions.

1. it is the theologians & scientists who can get things wrong, never the bible!
   • The Holy Scripture cannot err… the decrees therein contained are absolutely true and inviolable. But… though Scripture cannot err, its expounders and interpreters are liable to err in many ways; and one error in particular would be most grave and most frequent, if we always stopped short at the literal signification of the words.
   • In regard to the philosophers, if they be true philosophers, i.e., lovers of truth, they should not be irritated that the earth moves. Rather, if they realize that they have held a false belief, they should thank those have shown them the truth; and if their opinion stands firm that the earth doesn't move, they will have reason to boast than be angered.
2. DENYING EVIDENCE & NOT REASONING ON MATTERS TO MAINTAIN A POSITION CONTRARY TO NEW EVIDENCE.
   • My dear Kepler, what would you say of the learned here [scientists], who… have steadfastly refused to cast a glance through the telescope?…Showing a greater fondness for their own opinions than for truth, they sought to deny and disprove the new things which, if they had cared to look for themselves, their own senses would have demonstrated to them.
   • It is surely harmful to souls to make it a heresy [from authority of the Church] to believe what is proved.
   • I am certainly interested in a tribunal [the Church] in which, for having used my reason, I was deemed little less than a heretic.
3. ON DEMANDING TRUTH TO ALIGN WITH CONVENTIONAL WISDOM INSTEAD OF DATA & DEMONSTRATED EXPERIMENTAL PROOF.
   • I would beg the wise and learned fathers [of the church] to consider with all diligence the difference which exists between matters of mere opinion and matters of demonstration.... [I]t is not in the power of professors of the demonstrative sciences to alter their opinions at will.... [D]emonstrated conclusions about things in nature of the heavens, do not admit of being altered.
   • To command their professors of astronomy [scientific institutions] to refute their own observations is to command them not to see what they do see and not to understand what they do understand.
4. ON USING CONFORMITY AND WITNESSES TO PROPAGATE IDEAS INSTEAD OF EXPERIMENT & REASON.
   • I cannot but be astonished that Sarsi should persist in trying to prove by means of witnesses something that I may see for myself at any time by means of experiment. Witnesses are examined in doubtful matters which are past and transient, not in those which are actual and present. A judge must seek by means of witnesses to determine whether Peter injured John last night, but not whether John was injured, since the judge can see that for himself.
   • In questions of science, the authority of a thousand is not worth the humble reasoning of a single individual.

However, opinion, no matter how pervasive cannot overturn proven truth! Truth that has been encoded for us within the deepest reaches of the books of life - the mathematical laws of Nature (the universe) and Scripture. The situation described at length above is the exact opposite of what is needed to fuse scientific data and the Bible's scientific theories into a coherent understanding of how the universe - and reality - actually work. Combining the two arms of proper Science: empirical data; and theory, rightly credits the glory, honour and power behind the wonders of reality to their rightful recipient - the Creator: Jehovah. Join me as episode by episode the edifice of untruth is reduced to rubble. Brick by metaphorical brick witness the debasement of all thought that stands in opposition to the author of reality. To where can the obfuscation of Scientism run and hide when light fills every crevice? Join me as we start a journey unlike any other. A journey from which no one can return. This blog's purpose is proving the complete harmony that exists between two spheres of existence that have until now, been labeled as direct opposites of each other, or at least wholly incompatible. We will follow Science and then the Bible and see how taken in concert, they combine to lead us to the source of all reality!

Where do we start? By establishing God’s credentials in matters scientific! Let’s start with the easy stuff. Let’s start by explaining the currently so-called greatest mystery in the universe - Dark Matter!
